The objective of this research was to evaluate the viability of the utilization of cloud computing, and which, for this purpose some case studies of companies that made use of this technology, will be presented. This study also aimed the comprehension of the concepts of cloud computing and discussion of the impacts of its use, with the purpose of defining an efficient migration. The concern with security and interoperability between platforms can be a disadvantage, but the advantages arouses interest, because it represents a new form of implementation of IT. Thus, despite of the technical considerations, cloud computing is seen as a model of business and economics. |
