The effect of convergence or of all these developments is shown a complex scenario where users want mobility and integration of services, operators are seeking ways to provide this demand. And this scenario is that the technology based on IP networks (Internet Protocol) has attracted studies and standards by international bodies to regulate a standard that is used and can be integrated with other systems without losing the efficiency, safety and quality of existing networks. The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) has the function of integrating all multimedia services and also to integrate the existing legacy network architecture with a functional split into a reference point with specific functions. And the purpose of this project is to provide the functions, reference points and the services that the IMS can provide. |
