Nowadays people are increasingly dependent on the internet and its services resulting in an increasingly demanding market that expects more quickness and safe data from the suppliers. The evolution of these networks is only possible due to the improvement of the transmission and the medium used for this activity equipment. The objective of this study is to evaluate these two items and the networks generated by them. The FTTx networks that provides fast downstream and upstream speeds to users, allow an increasingly integrated smart home. This technology with the use of an all optical network is still undergoing maturation in Brazil and still has many challenges ahead but if overcome, will bring many advantages to the country. |
