The main objective of this work was to find and diagnose bottlenecks or delays in the production system of an industry in western Santa Catarina. This is a matter of great relevance to industries in this field that seek space and competitiveness in a very competitive market. Through the application of constraint theory, the objective was to evaluate, verify and dimension problems during the processes, enabling managers to strategically improve the occurrence of restrictive points in the production system. The research was characterized as a case study where data were collected by documentary research and observation. With this information and the measured production times were found restrictive points of production flows. These restrictive points have been analyzed for ways to apply improvements to eliminate or improve the workplace, making it no longer a restrictive process. With the application of the theory of constraints an effective verification of the problem was obtained and with the obtained results there was an improvement of the production flows. |
