Resumo: The restructuring in an organization occurs for several reasons, closure of a company, obsolescence of the process or product, loss of knowledge, among others. This work describes the changes resulting from a restructuring resulting from the closing of the company and the redirection of the market and medium and long-term objectives by the new partners in a medium-sized aluminum industry in the Southwest of Paraná. This theme was arrived at after observing it, which is literally new with less than 2 years of activity and has already undergone 2 changes in society, many changes in management and its rapid growth. Thus, they can lose control because many processes are not well defined or aligned to the desired by their new managers. Many sectors, as presented in the course of the work, have undergone changes for the better, especially those of production planning, heat treatment, separation, classification and logistics. It is evident throughout the study that many processes and / or sectors are centralized and receive a lot of external influence, and that for the healthy restructuring of the organization, mainly in the production planning and control sector that did not exist. In addition to the maturation of the company, the acceptance and desire for it must be taken by its leaders in terms of releasing centralized processes and interfering less or nothing in terms and attendance.
