Civil construction is responsible for high rates of industrial accidents in the country. In order to minimize this situation, the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards - ABNT recommends the Regulatory Norms, whose purpose is to standardize work safety, establishing administrative, planning and organizational guidelines, providing a Which refers to civil construction. For the improvement of the working conditions and safety of the worker, meeting the standard, and due to the requirements of a competitive market, there is concern in optimization of quality and productivity of the works, for this it is necessary a project of the living area Of a construction site. From this perspective, a descriptive study will be developed in contexts of three operational
areas and experiences of public worksites in distinct environments (Municipal, State and Federal), regarding the handling of items contained in NR18 through tools such as Check list, which evaluates companies according to the items in the standard. As a result, Work 01, Federal scope, more that met the requirements established by NR 18, while the work Municipal scope, Work 02, was the one that least attended the
norm, with about 48%. It is concluded that enforcement action is determinant in the degree of compliance with the standard and its action provides improvements in the construction site. |
