The present work evaluated the safety culture present in three large works in the civil construction sector in the city of Londrina-PR. The evaluation was done at the construction site through interviews with the employees. A questionnaire with objective and descriptive questions was used to conduct the interviews. The questions were formulated on the basis of existing literature on the subject with questions directed to safety technicians and other workers. The questions aim to evaluate aspects of the safety culture: information, organizational learning, involvement, communication and commitment. According to the results of the interviews it was noticed that all the analyzed works have a culture of constructive security. This conclusion was reached after verifying the low number of accidents recorded in relation to the size of the works, the efficiency in communication and transfer of information between employees and security technicians, security programs and the continuous implementation of improvements, the concern of the company With continuous training and daily safety procedures. |
