Resumo: The construction industry is one of the most important in the Brazilian industrial scenario, not only because of the large amount of financial resources it drives, but also because of the generation of jobs. However, it is responsible for presenting the greatest damage, and unsafe conditions to the health of the worker. Along with the modernization of jobs, came the need to develop studies capable of neutralizing or minimizing the negative impacts to the health and well-being of the worker. Aiming to contribute to this end, this work had as main objective to analyze the ergonomic conditions of the workers that perform the activity of construction of walls, in a housing complex located in the city of Avanhandava-SP. The present work aims at an ergonomic analysis of the work of a case study. The study was carried out in a sample of 15 male workers, aged over 18 years. For the execution of this study scientific methods and techniques were used. The workers were also observed by means of photographic records. From the observation and records, some methods of ergonomic analysis were used, such as the Nordic questionnaire and the OWAS method. Based on the data obtained in the Nordic questionnaire, it was possible to notice that the workers report that they left because of problems in the shoulders, dorsal and lumbar spine. Already through the OWAS method, which pointed out some nonconformities such as inappropriate postures and heavy load drives. The following actions were suggested: pause at work, use of the lumbar belt, correction of postures for lifting loads and gymnastics.
