Resumo: |
Civil construction is a sector with high accident rates, so there are several studies addressing various aspects. In this work, surveys of the situation of construction workers were carried out in 30 small works in municipalities belonging to the regions of Londrina and Maringá. The results showed that 73% of the construction sites were in poor condition, requiring organization, 97% of the employees did not use PPE, 93% of the works visited did not have EPCs, 97% of the works had no sanitary facilities (bathrooms, locker rooms and area for meal). The total absence of the helmet was observed in Londrina and of the 15 works of Maringá in only one of the employees used; among the PPE, the boot was the most used with percentages of 87% in Londrina and 73% in Maringá. Negligence was observed regarding collective protections, as there were only 23 works with scaffolding and these still did not meet the specifications of NR18. It was found that 96% of the stairs were in disagreement with the norm NR18. Finally, 77% of the buildings did not have sidings to close them. The contracting type prevailed (90% of the total works). It is worth mentioning that the observed irregularities could be minimized with on-site supervision. |
