Considering that the current market is in constant competition, companies have been looking for several alternatives that will keep them increasingly competitive. Increasing productivity, developing new technologies and implementing new management tools have always been considered as the main focus of large organizations. However, these became basic items for achieving organizational success, resulting, over the years, a change of concept on this subject. Currently, the concern for the health of its employees has been gaining space and becoming a differential tool in the market, since it reflects both in the reduction of costs of the companies, as in the productivity, which tends to increase when the employee performs his activities contents and motivated. The objective of this study was to perform an ergonomic analysis in a production sector of an industry in the city of Campo Mourão - PR. The methodology used was the OWAS (Ovako Working Posture Analyzing System) method to analyze the postures exerted by a certain collaborator in the sector known as shed. Data collection was performed through photographic records, which allowed generating a diagnosis relating inappropriate postures during the execution of worker activities. The results indicated two nonconformities of the six analyzed, both indicated category 3, requiring short-term intervention in order to improve the health and well-being of the same. |
