Resumo: The society presents changes related to the communication and the information derived from the use of the computer in the relations of the human beings. The introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in an accelerated way in all fields of society has promoted the formation of a globalized culture. These changes affect people's lives and reflect on literacy practices in different social spheres. This work proposes a reflection on the digital literacy from practices and literacy events that occur in professional environments. The qualitative-exploratory research aims to verify the digital literacy as a social phenomenon of sales professionals in a company located in the Northern region of Paraná, which sells inputs for agriculture. The paper proposes to analyze data collected through a semi-open questionnaire of a research that seeks to know the degree of digital literacy of these professionals and propose actions if necessary to improve their digital literacy.
