This work aimed to the identification of environmental risks the trade iron and steel in the city of Foz do Iguaçu-Pr. Given the current stage of development of society, is impossible to imagine the world without the use of iron, its consumption grows proportionally with the civilian buildings and the production of new equipment. For completion of the case study, chose a company that sells among its many products, steel plates, angles, flat bars and drawn shapes. By being a small business, found little education on the risks that the activities and, the handling of materials in the work environment can cause for the workers. In this situation, it was possible to identify physical risks (noise and heat), by measurements performed with the dosimeter noise and meter of heat stress. Identified also chemical risks (metal fumes), biological risks (fungi and bacteria), ergonomic risks and accident risks. Through the result found, it was proposed the adoption of immediate measures preventive and corrective in the company, that would guarantee the safety and health of yours workers. |
