This case study aimed to assess the levels of noise generated by the production of marble and correct use of PPE needed to minimize the adverse health effects in Marble Mondardo, in São Miguel do Iguaçu / PR. To obtain these results we used a decibel meter Digital, in which assessments were performed with the equipment near the ear of the worker. The evaluations were compared with NR 15 and it was found that noise levels are higher than the quantity determined by comparing with the standard time in which employees are exposed. Therefore it is the duty of the company to provide the required PPE; always with Certificate of Approval (CA), for the Ministry of Labour, for employees exposed to high noise levels. |
