Resumo: Noise is the harmful physical agent most commonly found in the workplace and is considered as an agent potentially stressful and may cause harm to workers' health. Excessive noise can also cause accidents, it can impede that warning beeps are listen by workers. Therefore, the diagnosis of the healthiness of the workplace in relation with noise agent is important, as it allows the adoption of measures aimed at eliminating or mitigating these factors. In this context, computational methods, such as expert systems, can be used to aid in the decision-making process in facing of the diagnosis of healthiness in the occupational environment related to noise. The aim of this work was to build an expert system that can diagnose the healthiness of occupational environment through data collected in workplaces, to driving at the health and physical integrity of workers. The system proved to be an important tool to support the decision-making process.
