This work aimed to address the importance of mathematical knowledge to apply and explain situations that we encounter in our lives. For this, a theoretical foundation was founded which was concerned with reporting the first forms of counting that arose from the man’s need to communicate and do business, and then a small historical approach to the development of mathematics through the peoples presenting some scholars who started the formulation, and the development of mathematical models that serve to exemplify and explain the universe where we are inserted. From this historical context we address the need and importance of mathematical knowledge, describing the advances and citing laws that engaged in the change of posture that came to interfere in schools. Next, we give a presentation about the presence of mathematics in situations in life that are often imperceptible to our eyes, such as the knot given in the shoe that chained the theory of knots. Finally, learning strategies are described in my work as an applied teacher in two schools that I teach today. In order to better understand what is learned in school and its application in daily life, activities were carried out to show the presence of mathematics in an interdisciplinary way. Thus, I use as examples the parabolic movement and its equations, demonstration of the values of the sine and cosine of any triangle any rectangle, construction and use of theodolite for trigonometric calculation, applications of circular functions. The results achieved brought more responsibility and improvement in the students’ participation and participation in mathematical learning. |
