This perspective was reported in books, periodicals, websites and reports of practices of teachers in search of a reflection and acquisition of knowledge for the improvement of teaching quality. A temática do trabalho realizado visa uma abordagem sobre a psicomotricidade no processo de alfabetização, justificado pela necessidade de conhecer e/ou reconhecer os benefícios e a importância da psicomotricidade no processo educacional de alfabetização, promovendo uma melhoria da aprendizagem para o alunado e facilitando o processo de ensino para o educador, sanando dúvidas referentes à temática. Para tanto, é relevante o desenvolvimento deste trabalho como auxílio aos sujeitos do processo educacional, através do estudo da temática psicomotricidade e alfabetização, prosseguindo com a problematização e a aplicação com troca de experiências que podem relacionar-se com o espaço escolar e/ou ao senso comum dos alunos, objetivando o desenvolvimento afetivo e cognitivo através da psicomotricidade, com práticas que possam melhorar o processo de ensino e aprendizagem.
