This research will be presented a bibliographical study and field research, in order to understand a little more about the behavior of these children in the classroom. During development will show the characteristics of ADHD: inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity, affecting academic performance, family, social and therefore should be targeted for intervention. In the diagnosis of ADHD is always necessary to contextualize the symptoms of the child's life, as these factors will help and in the diagnosis and treatment that is performed through medication and therapy. The results suggest that the proposed study research can contribute significantly to the teacher know the determinants of academic performance of students with the disorder, as well as guide you in seeking partnership with other professionals. With the completion of the important role of the teacher and the family along with the bearer of ADHD, as they may lead to information professionals who will be performing the treatment and help in your routine, organization, and school activities. Este trabalho teve como temática o Transtorno de déficit de Atenção e hiperatividade, uma condição neurobiológica que atinge de 3% a 7% da população. Nesta pesquisa será apresentado um estudo bibliográfico e pesquisa de campo, com objetivo de entender um pouco mais sobre o comportamento dessas crianças em sala de aula. Durante o desenvolvimento serão mostradas as características do transtorno de Déficit de Atenção e hiperatividade (TDAH): desatenção, hiperatividade e impulsividade, afetando o desempenho acadêmico, familiar, e social, portanto deve ser alvo de intervenção. No diagnóstico de TDAH é sempre necessário contextualizar os sintomas de vida da criança, pois estes fatores irão auxiliar e muito no diagnóstico e tratamento que é realizado através de medicação e terapia. Os resultados obtidos sugerem que o estudo proposto na pesquisa pode contribuir significativamente para o professor conhecer os determinantes do desempenho escolar de alunos com o transtorno, bem como orientá-lo na busca de parceria com outros profissionais.
