Resumo: This research deals with the study on school full time and the activities conducted in contraturno. It is known that more and more parents have been overwhelmed with work to support their families who do not have time to care for their children, not having where to leave them with security and care. Thus, the few existing day schools, more precisely in the city of Umuarama not have been aware of the relentless pursuit of these parents for a spot. Sit so great a need to understand how the organization of a school that serves children full time and know what to do when students are not in class studying, what activities are developed in the opposite shift and are offered as enabling these children to their overall development. Certainly these and many other questions will be addressed by the researcher will bring a positive return for the knowledge of educational professionals and especially for those interested in better understanding how the school full time, the methods used by teachers, activities contraturno the collective work of students and teachers, socialization, learning and training for life.
