The study is guided by bench mark authors Historical and Cultural Theory in systematic studies of Geraldi (1997), Koch(1997) and Travaglia (1997), which empha size the importance of cohesion and coherence in writing a text organized by a student who wants to say something some one. Bakhtin (1997) defends the genres of discourse and ideology contained in each word, and finally are flection on the professional practice of educators facing the challenges and obstacles of the profession. Through literature search, study and written about well that some authors define strategies and concepts in textual production. With this study we found some gaps created by the teaching of the mother tongue in a structuralist. Este trabalho teve como tema a aquisição da modalidade escrita da língua, especificamente no que se refere à produção textual. O estudo se orientou pelo referencial de autores da Teoria Histórico Cultural, nos estudos sistematizados de Geraldi (1997), Koch(1997) e Travaglia (1997), que ressaltam a importância da coesão e da coerência na escrita de um texto organizado por um aluno que quer dizer algo a alguém.Bakhtin (1997) defende os gêneros do discurso bem como a ideologia contida em cada palavra, e finalmente uma reflexão a respeito da prática profissional do educador frente aos desafios e obstáculos da profissão. Através de pesquisa bibliográfica, foram estudas e resenhadas obras de alguns autores que escrevem sobre estratégias e conceitos na produção textual.
