This essay has as its theme to show the importance of the use of methods and teaching techniques in Sunday bible school for children, and it deals with matters such as what education is, what Christian education is, and what methods and teaching techniques are. It also presents a report about learning styles, providing information on four quadrants of these styles, as well as a brief summary of the Sunday bible school, where it was conceived, who founded it, and who implemented it in Brazil. The different teaching methodologies, such as the entertaining, the theatrical, the expositive, the debate and the discussion are also shown, along with examples of methods applied with children, that show that teaching becomes more pleasant and students are more focused through the use of varied methods and techniques. |
