In this study, it was the importance of introducing fun and games in the classroom, linking them to the contents of mathematics and the English language, rescuing essential practices in the classroom. The aim of this was to develop a teaching project using fun and games that contribute to students of elementary school I acquire the pleasure for the game as well as the related content to it, because the game gives students freedom of expressing your motivation, and in the game of exposing your imagination, your spontaneity. In addition to expressing the student manages to socialize more and express their opinions, developing the psychological part what comes to assist in work and methodology of the teacher. It was observed that the teachers despite the knowledge of the necessity of the fun and games in the classroom have some resistance and that students with games demonstrate great satisfaction in learning. Este trabalho teve como temática Jogos e Brincadeiras como método de Ensino nas séries iniciais e foi desenvolvido na cidade de Paranavaí, Paraná e envolveu alunos do Ensino Fundamental I, tendo como embasamento os conhecimentos de vários autores. Neste estudo, tratou-se da importância de introduzir jogos e brincadeiras nas salas de aula, relacionando-os aos conteúdos de Matemática e Língua Portuguesa, resgatando práticas essenciais nas aulas. O objetivo deste foi desenvolver um projeto de ensino utilizando jogos e brincadeiras que contribuíssem para que os alunos do ensino fundamental I adquirissem o prazer pelo jogo bem como pelos conteúdos relacionado a ele, pois o jogo dá liberdade ao aluno de exprimir sua motivação, e na brincadeira de expor sua imaginação, sua espontaneidade. Além de se expressar o aluno consegue se socializar mais e expressar suas opiniões, desenvolvendo a parte psicológica o que vem a auxiliar no trabalho e metodologia do professor.
