Sexual violence is a social problem that affects thousands of children annually. It is also a public health problem that requires a lot of attention and work to reduce its high rates. This problem has an unknown root, however, the history of violence committed against children is longstanding. This bibliographical study aims to construct methodologies for the prevention and intervention of sexual violence, addressing the historical and legislative points of view. It also presents the school as an environment conducive to the detection of sexual abuse and the responsibility of teachers to know the subject and to work in an active way in prevention and intervention. It is suggested a methodological proposal of working in schools, especially aimed at teachers, to work with very small children and also with the larger ones. |
