Resumo: When enrolling in Youth and Adult Education (EJA) many students are not literate, therefore, considering the different students’ stories of Youth and Adult Education, it is necessery a attention look at the activities realized in the educational process for their social inclusion will be full and satisfactory. The process of literacy allows that the students have an opportunity to tell their experiences, and this valorization motivates them to go on studying. For this reason, this research was developed of qualitative brand directed to EJA with a theoretical basis through the bibliographic research. Objectifying by means of a exploratory methodI it will know this teaching modality more deeply having as focus of field research and data collection, the Municipal School of Engomadeira of Salvador, Bahia, objectifying to analyze the appreciation of student’s knowledge during the realization of school activities. A project of paramount importance in the process of teaching and learning só that the students have their previous knowledges expanded with the use of methodologies that develop autonomy, directing enriching learning through diverse didactic materials, such as newspapers, magazines, and posters in the realization of activities. Keeping students attending classes, combating school dropout, which in many situations results from the inadequacy of teaching methodologies for the study of young people and adults, which ultimately discourages them in daily activities.Knowing that the learners feel more motivated to learn working in a group, and noting in all the tasks, references of their daily life. An opportunity to gain new knowledge by exchanging experience with classmates as well as through the teacher.
