Resumo: This work had as thematic the importance of playing as a tool for the learning of children in Basic Education through a synthesis of some studies available in Internet repositories, videolessons and contributions in Pedagogy blogs about the theme. It is justified by the importance of rescuing play, toy and traditional games as a means of enhancing learning, above all by latent playfulness, the socialization they promote and the joy they promote in today’s “robotized” children, by the skills, they promote and improve such as improvement in memorization, understanding of rules of living and urbanity, living and group cooperation. It has as general objective: to raise as some current researches, three video lessons and the content of Pedagogy blogs conceive the concept of play, toys, traditional games and the importance of their playfulness to the development of learning in children of Early Childhood. And, as specific objectives: analyze how the studies and other references define, develop and defend the importance of play, play, traditional games and their playfulness; to make a brief history of play, play and play as teaching tools, and to highlight the future of these teaching instruments in the current educational context. It is an exploratory, descriptive, quantitative, bibliographic research based on the foundations of authors such as Kishimoto, Bernardes, Picelli and Gomes, among others. It achieves results: the current studies about the theme, the videolessons about playing and the content of the blog adopted for the research point out its importance, without specific applicability, in the academic area; in the majority of them proposes concepts, it emphasizes the capacities that the play promotes, they play jokes and toys; two studies highlight the importance of playing and its applicability, namely the study of The territory of play, and Lima (2013) and your applicability.
