Around the end of the 80 and the mid-90, the search for methods that prepare organizations and public services for quality and productivity is initiated. Public programs and policies are emerging that seek a excellent public management, focused on results and satisfaction of the citizen. The process orientation becomes the basis for a public management of excellence. Process guidance comes as a methodology in both private and public organizations and aims to achieve better results by improving work processes. Played by all servers and continuously, involves knowing, analyzing, modifying and monitoring work routines. It is necessary to raise awareness and mobilize all the servers in order to achieve more lasting results, reducing errors and making it possible to increase productivity. The documentation of the processes in the organizations, represent important knowledge management tool, because the manuals allow the meeting of information, which well arranged facilitate the functioning of the Organization, by engaging crucial areas, affect the How the work done this organized, show and teach how to perform the activities. They enable their servers to know all the activities and work routines of the Organization, which facilitates the performance of a particular function, even by newly arrived servers. This work aims to understand how this methodology can help the public organizations to achieve the objectives and results expected in a efficient way, that is, to carry out their activities in order to find the best result cost benefit. However, it is understood that this is not yet a concern of the institution in study, the activities and processes flock without having a concern with them. |
