This research presents its focus on the model of integral education, employed in the state schools of the State of São Paulo from the year 2012. The Integral Education Program aims at the formation of the individual to the exercise of citizenship, having as a great differential the Juvenile Protagonism as one of the educational principles. The study was based on the analyzes of the Management Model of the Integral Education Program, the Resolutions prepared for the Program and the results obtained by the school units through the School Performance Evaluation System of the State of São Paulo - Saresp, in which the school units considerable progress since its implementation. The study showed an increase of up to 20% in the Saresp index in the year following the inclusion of the school in the Program. It was also evidenced the work of the School Manager, in this case the School Director himself and his management team, who through management tools such as the PDCA and the Management Model developed for the Program, improve the practices and help in reaching the indexes obtained. |
