This research approached transparency and popular participation in the municipality of Jacareí - SP, and the objective of this work was to analyze the main tool used in the disclosure of information that is the transparency portal. The ideal of democracy is to be the essence of modern administration, in this sense, the Democratic State of Law is present when rights are respected and the common interest overlaps with the particular. With the advancement of technology and the need to disseminate more and more information related to its actions, the public administration of Jacareí - SP feeds its portal of transparency by providing citizens with real-time access to information on revenues and expenses as well as other information information of common interest. The concepts of popular participation in municipal public management show that it assists in the development of public policies and provides citizens with a knowledge of the functioning of the public machine, as well as exercising control and inspection functions and proposing improvements for the municipality. |
