This work had as its theme the concept of internal control within the public administration. For that traced a brief history of the emergence of control in Brazil, as well as laws, decrees and regulations that have emerged throughout the history of the country's fiscal management. Were appointed types of control inherent in public administration, deepening the internal control, object of this study. His concept was presented as the application in government management. Its goals and features were exposed and their importance in the fulfillment of constitutional principles and meeting the needs of the user-citizen was highlighted. Appointed as a management tool, the control helps the manager in achieving its goals and objectives, to protect it from possible inadvertent errors and waste and providing transparency to the taxpayer in the application of public resources. The study methodology used was literature with a case study in a hospital in southern Brazil. |
