This research is about the work of Niccolo Machiavelli's "The Prince" primarily "political game" or certain unethical practices of politicians. The main focus will be to analyze the content of the work and relevance of his teachings involved in political issues in Brazi. This paper discusses the interactions between "political game", governance and popular participation. It also deals with some critical assessments of Machiavelli's thought linked to the world of politics. Based on a literature search, in in the press in Sao Jose dos Campos (SP) and interviews, the study seeks explanations. For some practical policies and actions in São José dos Campos (SP) and seeks to answer the question: is the book "The Prince" current in relation to political practices in Sao Jose dos Campos? |
