This work was based on the industrialization in São José dos Campos, in the state of São Paulo from an analysis of economic history site. To do so was based on a literature and documentary about the process of industrialization, especially in the state of São Paulo where this occurred more narrowly. Data were ordered chronological manner so that possible to draw a parallel between the facts, the policies created industrial and economic growth. In analyzing regional and local geographic features were found, locational and politicians who favored investments located, so both by the government (state capital) and by private capital from tax incentive policies. Research has shown growth Municipal de São José dos Campos - SP higher than the average of São Paulo, good economic indicators, social and income (largely superior to the average of the Region Government and the state of São Paulo). However, a criticism of local industrialization process is the lack in some areas as policies for environmental sustainability and housing, reflecting the sprawl of the city. |
