The Telêmaco Borba - PR has received in recent years major investments for expansion of industries Klabin in its territory. In this respect, it is clear that the city is undergoing significant changes in population dynamics. Given the above, it is intended through this work provide a description of the structure of the municipality based on population censuses from 2000 to 2010, correlating this change to population growth and its potential impacts on public health. For this study, age pyramids were built in the municipality with the information presented in censuses as well, indicators were calculated considering gender, age and household status. From these data it is possible to realize that Telêmaco Borba - PR showed a steady population growth from 2000 to 2010. The same has a concentrated urbanization, increasing the number of people living in cities in recent years due to migration of people in search of work. With respect to residents in rural areas is of little importance to equate the quantitative population of the State of Paraná. Another important aspect to be considered is the public health services, which were impacted by the demographic transition that the city is experiencing, despite the reduction in fertility rates, migration and the elderly population has increased, showing that the city is going through constant changes that differ fron the state of Paraná and the country. |
