Resumo: It is known that it is difficult to have a standard of acessibility correct in all places of public acess. We found that acces in public schools is even more deficient and is far from solution by the authorities. The inclusion project mentioned the 1988 Federal Constitution establishes itself from the actions of the Government in order to ensure education for all in its broadest form, ie. To enter and remain in compulsory education, free and good quality. The purpose of this work is to verify accessibility issues present in the public schools of elementary school from 1st to 5th year of Telêmaco Borba. The methodology used was a qualitativa approach through a literature review on the law and rules of ABNT NBR9050, questionnaire and record photographs taken in public schools in that adjustments were made architectural and schools where there was any adjustment necessary the inclusion of physically disabled persons and persons with reduced mobility. It can be concluded that public schools need urgent investments so they can fit the standards required, since the 23 institutions evaluated, 22 of them are away from the required standard, some adjustments were made as ramps, handrails and troughs. Only one school is adapted from the way required by ABNT, but this school still lacks the appropriate signage.
