Companies need to invest in employees to enter higher dose of motivation, along with it, is important to the role of leaders to achieve the goals of the company, so it is essential to the foundation of the theories in business for the success of any business. For this research, we used the feature observation of behavior to reach the research problem: How is the role of people management and leadership in public administration? The objective of this study is to evaluate people management and leadership in public management, seeking to portray the vision of public officials. The methodology was applied research, qualitative, descriptive, which developed through the observation of the literature related to the subject of people management, leadership, public management. In addition, a questionnaire with a population of 50 public servants Public Management in Sao Jose dos Campos in the Paraíba Valley. The questionnaire was delivered randomly and individual and subsequently collected and evaluated to be encoded. We conclude that there is no defined people management, that leadership is not participatory in daily public service, everything happens without planning, which are not interconnected sectors and leaders do not engage with employees. |
