Resumo: This work focuses on the interference of street educators in the lives of children and teenagers who are on the margins of society. The RADAR project’s priority, these include young people in social programs and reinstate them to their families, and make home visits to families of youth guidance program. The project also provides for both young people and their families receive food aid. The paper shows the problems faced by street educators, such as the recurrence of minors to remain in the streets and their difficulties with families, who often do not have the minimum structure affective, social and economical way to accommodate them, the project radar now serves 85 children / teens street, and 43 % are attending social projects, 13 % are under surveillance social and 6 % are still on the streets permanently.. The focus is the city of Itapetininga ( SP ), which examined the successes and problems of the Radar Project and suggested improvements.
