This study, in a theoretical-conceptual approach to the theme Telework, presents some peculiarities of this new work form, addressed to the municipal public manager, and warns about the basic care that should take when inserting this new modality of work in the municipal scope, in order to contribute to the principle of efficiency. For this, the theoretical basis will be divided into three parts, moments in which: i) the transformations of the labor relations are approached; ii) concepts of teleworking and its main characteristics; iii) it presents the legal regulation of teleworking and the main criticisms derived from it. The inductive method and the bibliographic research technique associated to data collection of official electronic documents are used. For the research: i) the main advantages of telecommuting were analyzed in order to contribute to the principle of efficiency in municipal public administration; ii) some of the experiences obtained with telecommuting in the public sphere were presented; iii) and, finally, some indications of the care that the public manager must have at the moment of implementing said activity in the Municipal scope. |
