For a better understanding of the object of this research, Reverse Logistics, a descriptive research was carried out which corroborated with the type of data collection, which in this study was given, through an interview conducted at the Municipal Urbanization, which is responsible for the collection of waste in the municipality of São José dos Campos-SP. The Municipal Administration, in implementing and implementing Reverse Logistics in certain post-consumer products, which were the subject of sectoral agreements, such as batteries and batteries, lamps and tires, took care of developing and awakening to Environmental Education citizens, demonstrating how this practice contributes to the sustainability of the environment, preserving it for present and future generations. Este espaço de reflexão visa entender e demonstrar os benefícios que a Logística Reversa traz para a vida do cidadão e a importância da aplicação da Política Nacional dos Resíduos Sólidos no planejamento do manuseio e destinação destes resíduos. Para melhor entendimento do objeto desta pesquisa, a Logística Reversa, foi realizada uma pesquisa descritiva que corroborou com o tipo de coleta de dados, que neste estudo se deu, por meio de entrevista realizada na Urbanizadora Municipal, órgão este responsável pela coleta de resíduos no município de São José dos Campos-SP.
