Resumo: The debate on inclusive public policies and the need to feasible it are important advances in the individual rights of the public to which it is intended. These advances were produced by the Brazilian law of inclusion. Thes managers of Caraguatatuba have, in addition to a legislation to be fulfilled, a north to work inclusive public policies. The aim of this research is to verify compliance with legislation on the right to basic education-with regard to school inclusion and municipal public policies-inclusive practices in public schools in the municipality of Caraguatatuba. The concern about inclusive practices in public schools in Brazil began after the Salamanca declaration, with challenges and doubts. Even today, regular school teachers complain that they do not have enough knowledge or formal preparation to deal with children with special educational needs, especially when they present serious dysfunctions such as autism and Other types of psychic sufferings named for global development disorders. This study will be in accordance with municipal legislation, which provides monitoring of the goals of the Municipal Education Plan (SMEs). The SME is listed in Municipal Law 2,236, of 18 June 2015, in compliance with Federal Law 13,005, of 25 June 2014.
