Resumo: This work has the theme Education being used in order to explain to students the increasing number of AIDS cases in adolescence in order to decrease contagion and thus the spread of the disease .It is known that in the case of AIDS prevention is the only way to avoid the disease, since there is still no cure. .The Research indicates an increase in the number of cases in this age group and it is difficult to understand why in such a globalized world in the midst of an age group of the population with such access, why it is happening. This study used field research as a methodology to survey through a questionnaire administered to students in 9th grade of a Municipal School in São José dos Campos. With the results obtain ad through the questionnaire, it was possible to evaluate through spreadsheets, the level of understanding and knowledge of students, and there was a large percentage of errors, 90% and 40% in issues related to the spread of AIDS by kissing and sex, respectively. By preparing lessons, aiming to clarify the issues in which most students had questions, there was a utilization of 90%, which was evaluated by mathematics classes, which helped the interpretation of the data presented, and through preparation of the posters in art classes, accounting for 99% of the students. Therefore, it is clear that the positive results are more easily achieved when the target audience is known, and the assessment of students' knowledge can be made, using tools through interdisciplinary resources, to prepare lesson plans as well, seeking to intervene in the preventing the spread of AIDS.
