The laboratories of Technical Chemistry courses should be considered as potential sources of generation of waste can not be disposed of directly into the environment through the sewer systems without proper treatment. Thus, this study is a project developed with the participation of students of the Escola Técnica Estadual Prefeito Alberto Feres/SP, with the goal of checking students' knowledge regarding the form of storage and waste disposal practices used in chemistry classes, the which are part of daily travel, they serve as a practical complement the theory passed in class . Students already have the curriculum guidelines that reflect the importance of waste treatment, storage, disposal and influence on the environment, including being instructed not to perform the disposal of waste from the direct and practical classes in the sink or trash. Thus, given the results presented, it is remarkable awareness of students concerning provision, neutralization and separation of waste stored for later pickup by the agency that is responsible for the City Hall of the Municipality of Araras. |
