Sexuality is a very relevant topic, from society, school and even within families. Thus, the school as an institution within society, can not be considered an asexual and neutral space, because it is a privileged space to discuss relationships. Therefore, this paper made a bibliographical and field research approach, referring to sexual orientation in school, making a reflection on the teaching learning process. Thus, the overall objective was to analyze the relationship between school and sexuality in its biological, psychological, social, political, religious, ethical and cultural. For this you need to understand that regardless of area of expertise of the educato, these can always be included as content Sexual Orientation and must work divested of sexuality myths, taboos and prejudices. However, you realize that sexuality has different conditions, appearances and meanings, and therefore changes over time. However, there are many ways of working sexuality in schools: projects that can involve the community as a whole; films are also excellent forms of information; lectures to health professionals; presentation of contraceptive methods is very important, from the simplest to the most complex, showing students how to use them. Thus it is understood that sexuality is always open to new values and practices of signification. In this context, this paper realized the need to invest in teacher training programs that may mediate the development of body awareness, respect yourself and others as well, to make sex education in school is able to expand students knowledge, supporting the students to make their own choices about sexuality. |
