his work had the theme of environmental education in the state network, with the purpose of presenting the importance of the theme, and how it fits in other disciplines beyond the context of Science and Geography. Environmental education is fundamental for people's awareness of the world, the preservation of species, the use of natural resources among other factors. Within the school curriculum, environmental education does not receive great importance, and there is no deepening of the theme. The main goal is to be able to work with students and teachers to raise awareness of the environment in and out of school. This work shows a research done at a State school in the Municipality of Franca, SP, where the importance and the degree of knowledge about environmental education was questioned with students and professors from different disciplines. The results showed that Environmental Education is not included in the school curriculum, and that some teachers are not prepared to minister as a transversal theme, being only applied in the disciplines of Science and Geography. |
