Knowing the vital importance of water and its lack as a resource in Cordeirópolis, in the State of São Paulo due to the low incidence of rain regarding to what is expected, and the growth of the population and consequently the raise in the demand of water, the access to water is even more limited. Facing this scenario this present work had a goal to study the way the students of the 6th grade from the Elementary School are using the water in their daily life and through the environmental education and didactic resources, educate them about the need to use the water rationally and making sure to see if any change has occurred after the education activities. The information about the use of the water before and after the activities was collected by the means of a questionnaire. Through this methodology was possible to note that a great part of public has been using the water unnecessarily. After the activities of environmental education and the use of the didactic resources a significant improvement has occurred in the habits toward the appropriate use of the water and its use evenly. |
