This work was thematic experiences in science education. The experiments are needed throughout the process of teaching and learning, especially in the teaching of physical and biological sciences, as they allow for different development practices in the classroom or laboratory room. The trial arouses students' interest in group work and thus improves teaching and learning. To this end, this paper presents a study conducted to assess the importance of the experimental classes in science teaching and also the difficulties encountered by teachers in the use of this teaching mechanism. Therefore, the aim with this study to identify the types and importance of experiments in the discipline of the common part of the core curriculum of the second cycle of basic education, covering the sixth, seventh, eighth, and the 9th year through questionnaires administered to eighty students State School Gestal Colonel Bridges, located in the City of Bridges Gestal / SP. One can assume that students claim to have learned significantly with the experiments, so lets place him as a teaching and learning method, essential to science teaching. This type of education is not only as a complement, rather than building knowledge factor, targeting the school and knowledge are constantly changing and evolving, especially in the scientific way of science.
