The method used in this work is a case study that allowed the investigation and analysis of the whole process during the experiences experienced in the development of the garden. The aim of the project was to provide learning through the planting and cultivation of vegetables, seeking the adoption of healthy habits, involving students with the school environment and its team, as well as providing sustainability concepts using the reuse of materials such as PET bottles, even in the face of challenges such as lack of space and structure in the institution. According to the research carried out with parents / guardians and with teachers, represented by graphs, we find through data collected, great benefits. We observed the students 'food preferences and which vegetables they did not have the habit of ingesting, allowing a greater variety in the offer, besides analyzing the parents / guardians and teachers' view on the implementation of the suspended school garden, what initiatives the children had already been involved in the family and school environment and to verify what activities the students identified most during the process. The benefits achieved by the implementation of the suspended school garden are great, since it becomes effective in the search for healthier habits and in the reutilization of materials as didactic resource. Still, we emphasize that the suspended garden was an efficient alternative for the exploration of the existing physical space. Este trabalho teve como temática a implantação de uma horta escolar suspensa em uma escola de Educação Infantil, visando demonstrar que o aluno de qualquer faixa etária, pode ser estimulado beneficamente através de práticas pedagógicas. O método utilizado neste trabalho é um estudo de caso que possibilitou a averiguação e análise de todo processo durante as experiências vivenciadas no desenvolvimento da horta. O objetivo da implantação foi proporcionar aprendizagem através do plantio e cultivo de hortaliças, buscando a adoção de hábitos saudáveis, envolvendo os alunos com o ambiente escolar e sua equipe, além de proporcionar noções de sustentabilidade utilizando a reutilização de materiais, como as garrafas PET, mesmo diante de desafios como falta de espaço e estrutura na instituição. Conforme as pesquisas realizadas com pais/responsáveis e com os professores, representadas por gráficos, constatamos através de dados levantados, grandes benefícios. Observamos as preferências alimentares dos alunos e quais as hortaliças eles não possuíam o hábito de ingerir, possibilitando uma variedade maior na oferta, além de analisar a visão dos pais/responsáveis e professores sobre a implantação da horta escolar suspensa, quais iniciativas as crianças já haviam sido envolvidas no âmbito familiar e escolar e verificar quais atividades os alunos mais se identificaram durante o processo. São grandes os benefícios alcançados pela implantação da horta escolar suspensa, já que se torna eficaz na busca por hábitos mais saudáveis e na reutilização de materiais como recurso didático.
