The aim of this study was to know the power of children in preschool a municipal school of Santa Terezinha de Itaipu and inform them clearly what is the importance of proper nutrition for their development. We first carried out the evaluation of school meals to children aged approximately three years later was asked to nutritionist from the city council of Santa Terezinha de Itaipu providing the weekly menu offered to children, and then was made to accept some food, which were presented to children in the form of a poster. No need to use the school as a space for intervention, aiming at the formation and expansion of childhood experiences in the development of healthy eating habits. The school must have parents as allies, to make them aware of what their children are consuming. The schools, in turn, should be institutions that encourage the formation of healthy eating habits from childhood, but what is observed in some establishments in practice food menus are monotonous and consist of foods. This study confirmed the high consumption of sweets for children aged 3 years, and foods with greater acceptability were the chocolates (100%), candy (100%) and ice cream (96.7%), which despite little age, all children like, probably indicating that parents provide their children early. Ë possible to highlight that the conversation and presentation of unfamiliar foods, children accept prove to know, but reject later when the palate does not suit them. And with the time spent in school, children become more healthy and resistant to disease, leading to truly believe that eating habits and meals offered to them at home are not appropriate for their age group. |
