The evaluation is a mandatory part of the system or Public Schools. As it determines almost dominantly to approve or not a student, it is important to seek the best ways of checking the knowledge acquired by students. It was applied different methods of evaluation, appropriate to the reality of the comunity where the students is inserted, because every individual is different from each other. The aim objective is to qualify the teaching and learning, emphasizing and prioritizing the study of this subject in a exciting, fun and compromised way to form a critical citizen to live in society. In this way, the student can understand a little more the reason of studyng and practicing mathematics. Este trabalho tem como objetivo explicar a necessidade de utilizar diferentes métodos de avaliação na disciplina de matemática para o 6°ano do Ensino Fundamental II. A avaliação é parte obrigatória do sistema da Rede Pública de Ensino. Como isto determina quase que dominantemente a aprovação ou não de um aluno, é importante buscar as melhores maneiras de verificar o conhecimento adquirido pelos alunos. Foram aplicados diferentes métodos de avaliação, adequados à realidade da comunidade em que o aluno está inserido, já que cada indivíduo é diferente do outro. O objetivo é qualificar o ensino aprendizagem, priorizando e valorizando o estudo desta disciplina de maneira instigante, divertida e comprometida a formar um cidadão crítico para viver em sociedade.
