This study aimed to assess whether the improved quality of life with deploying labor gymnastics influences the practice of science teachers, and interferes with the teaching and learning process. There were preventive therapeutic exercise, acting directly on the health of teachers, since this class of workers reported great pain and stress caused by his heavy workload and hardly has projects addressing the maintenance of health and quality of life of teachers. The volunteer teachers were included in protocol gymnastics at the school where the researcher developed exercises prioritizing several body segments. There were 17 meetings, where the first meeting was elaborated the initial assessment, more than 15 meetings therapeutic exercise and a final meeting where volunteers answered the final evaluation. The exercises were well accepted by professionals and all subjects showed improvement in pain symptoms and felt more motivated, which led to a change of at least one methodology in class. With the result, all participants recommended to colleagues the practice of gymnastics labor. |
