This research engages with the opinions of Elementary School students enrolled in four schools in the city of Mogi-Guaçu/SP about the experimental practices performed in school grounds. Texts from various authors that published articles about this issue were also selected, pointing out the relevance and flaws of this teaching strategy, as well as other tools that can be inserted in teaching schedules with the intent of improving the construction of the apprenticeship. Experiments are means for discussion, interaction, to improve knowledges and scientific concepts, that stir curiosity and participation from the students as a whole. Also, the majority of the students consider their participation in the execution of the experiments to be of extreme worth, instigating interactions, questionings and facilitating the contents‟ understanding. |
