The EE can be defined and characterized in several ways, this work has as its theme the probing on the subject in the teaching of biology, through a systematic study of a questionnaire of the students' vision of a pre-university community course in the city of Guarulhos / SP. The research sought to understand the students' perception of EE, based on the experiences they had and the previous knowledge they had during their school education. The results indicate that most of the students understand some concepts related to EE, but the other part of the students do not yet fit the general aspects of EE; with respect to the EE received at the school, 76.1% of the students state that it is good and very good, but 54.0% of students do not know the final destination of the solid waste generated in their city; Another interesting result is related to environmental attitudes and practices, where about 38.1% of the students stated that they sometimes throw garbage somewhere other than the appropriate place, which demonstrates a concern about the environment, since do not correctly associate their actions and are not effectively sensitized with EE. process does not have instant results overnight, it is a delicate task that needs to be continuous, that can form and develop responsible socio-environmental attitudes, but for that it is necessary to change values and paradigm. |
