Resumo: The goal of this monograph is the performing of an investigation about the development of Information and Communication Techonologies aiming the elaboration of Learning Objects directed to the Science Teaching. In order to conduct this study, we employed molecular modeling techniques to produce visual resources from the specific softwares used in investigations of chemical and physical phenomena. Molecular modeling emerges as an important tool to explain and provide visualization of the investigated chemical environment. In this context, the work proposes the modeling of intermolecular interactions of some chemical compounds at their the boiling point. The problem to be modeled is to show that some hydrides exhibit behavior in disagreement with the observed tendency due to intermolecular interactions of a specific nature. The digital resources generated from the modeling of these phenomena were applied to the development of Learning Objects using the INTERA methodology, developed by UFABC researchers. The resources developed from this methodology can be used to support the teaching and learning of several concepts in basic science classes. The results obtained showed that molecular modeling is an adequate tool for the elaboration of an instructional resource.
